SEPTEMBER

It’s been pretty quiet over here over the past week or so. Sorry about that. The long anticipated end of the summer vacation finally came and we walked into the beginning of a new month and season. September is here. We had a great Labor Day. Just four of us, sleeping in, taking walks, eating delicious food, bbq-ing, celebrating friends birthdays and making little repairs around the house before the cold season really kicks in. It was the last weekend before Pola's first day of Kindergarten and we really wanted to take it easy and  get everyone on schedule and ready for new adventures. It will be interesting to see how everyone will adjust to new routines. My husband's school began last week and Nella will soon start her own little activities at our neighborhood Park District. Our house will again be super busy. I am going back to teaching my Polish highschoolers at the Polish School of Language and also plan on adding some one on one Polish classes to my oldest daughter's schedule. September will be challenging but we all are looking forward to change of the season, American football, lots of yummy comforting food that fall brings and slowing down when while the weather gets crazy. Cause it will...eventually...
